Day 6 of Merry Motivation
Save some of your hustle and avoid the hustle of everyone else! I know online holiday shopping is a big phenomenon these days. My husband is a mailman and I get daily reports on how many packages the office delivers around this time of year. Yowza! Have you thought about shopping online for your groceries? Don't knock it until you try it. Some may have an aversion to this to start off, which I can understand, but trust me, when you find the right establishment to provide this service for you it is a lifesaver during this busy season. Speaking of saving, I should mention it is also a money saver, time saver and a calorie saver. Ordering your groceries online the first time will take a little time investment, but from then on you have a pre budgeted, pre made ready to go order each and every time you need your groceries. Not going into the store physically will help you avoid the crowds, stay on budget and will keep a wandering hand from snatching that bag of chips or Ice Cream that's onsale, that you really don't need. My favorite company to order from is Fresh Direct if they are in your area. They even wrap your bananas in protective foam wrap and even sell boneless salmon steaks, which is the only place I have ever found that amazingness! There are others like PeaPod, and local to the Boston area, Roche Brothers, but don"t rule out your winter CSA or services like Instacart. Try it out. Let me know if you have found a service you LOVE!
