Day 9 of Merry Motivation

NO EQUIPMENT WORKOUT

Whether you are traveling for the holidays, or that oh so busy pre holiday business rush, here is a workout that you can do anywhere, anytime....even in your guest room at the inlaws. Body weight exercises are super basic, but never fail to bring the challenge no matter your fitness level.

1. High Knees

Tip - This is a standing jog with knees reaching waist height. Hands above head.

2. Mountain Climber

Tip - Running in plank position. Remember to keep your glutes and head in line.

3. Jump Squats

TIP - For a soft landing bend those knees as soon as your feet hit the ground

4. Frogger

Tip - From plank position Jump or step legs to a deep squat and bring your back tall

5. Tricep Push Ups

Tip - Let those elbows point straight back as they brush your sides.

6. Scapula Squeeze while in wide turned out sumo squat

Tip - Keep your shoulders pressed down away from your ears as you press your shoulder blades toward eachother.

7. Wall Push

Tip - With all your might, try to move the sturdiest wall around you and feel your core activate.

Cycle through these exercises at 30, 45 or 60 seconds depending on your fitness level. Complete the set 3 x's @ 60 seconds with 1 minute rest between sets for a workout just under 30 minutes.
